NDIS After Hours Crisis Referral Service

Who is the AHCRS for?

This service is for crisis situations that require a disability sector response. Crisis referrals may occur where the participant’s disability related supports suddenly become ineffective, inadequate or absent; and the participant or their support coordinator are unable to make short term arrangements or enact in-house supports that exist in their NDIS plan.

This service is for approved referrers only, such as emergency service organisations (police, ambulance, public and private hospitals), acute state mental health services, federal police, and state justice officers.

The NDIS After Hours Crisis Referral Service is a national initiative funded by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
