Are you a Mental Health Clinician who thrives in a role that delivers meaningful outcomes to rural locations? If you are, then we want you to join our Youth Outreach Program (YOP) team.

This is a Full-Time role however Part Time hours may also be considered for the right candidate. This role can be based from Dubbo, Nyngan, Warren or Coonamble.

What will I do?

  • Deliver mental health assessment, formulation, and intervention to young people accessing the program
  • Use evidence-based approaches to deliver mental health assessment, formulation, care coordination and intervention
  • Develop individualised treatment plans to implement appropriate intervention strategies
  • Provide mental health services via face to face consults, outreach and telehealth
  • Actively contribute to continuous clinical quality improvement activities.

What do I need?

  • Qualifications in psychology, social work or other mental health accredited allied health discipline
  • Registration/membership with the relevant board or association (eg. AHPRA, AASW)
  • Advanced clinical skills in a range of mental health service settings
  • Experience providing culturally safe services Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their communities
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly developed organisational and time management skills
  • Computer literacy and experience in report writing and electronic client information management systems
  • Unrestricted Australian drivers licence and willingness to travel to provide outreach services.
