We’re on the lookout for a passionate and experienced mental health professional to step into a pivotal leadership role within our Strong Minds program. This is a full-time opportunity, based in our Dubbo office | Wiradjuri Country

 What’s the role?

As our Team Lead – Strong Minds, you’ll be the right-hand to the Portfolio Manager, Mental Health. You’ll be driving continuous service improvement, championing clinical governance, and providing top-tier support to our clinicians and intake staff. Think of it as being part strategic operator, part people leader, part quality guardian — all rolled into one dynamic role.

You’ll also work closely with our Clinical Intake Lead, GP’s, Local Health Districts, Community Health Programs and other key stakeholders to ensure the Strong Minds program is delivering gold-standard care — every time.

A Bit About You:

  •  You’ve got a clinical background and understand the ins and outs of mental health service delivery, especially in primary care.
  • You can lead the intake process to ensure referrals are prioritsed and meet the programs eligibility criteria all whilst having a client centred approach.
  • Are able to identify and streamline pathways to other care services for individuals who may need different program support
  • Can develop and extend on existing Patient Management systems
  • Understand the importance of accurate and timely reporting to various government agencies
  • Can develop policies, procedures and systems that ensure safe clinical practices, meet guidelines and excel at client care.
  • You’re a natural leader — confident, collaborative, and calm under pressure.
  • You can juggle clinical governance, intake and triage oversight, team development, and service quality improvement with ease.
  • You’ve worked in or alongside multi-disciplinary teams and know how to keep the wheels turning in complex environments.
  • And of course, you’re passionate about making services work better for clients, families, and the community.
